 PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The innovating project management requires an effective scheme of work.

For this purpose, we have established the following methodology broken up into four stages whose last is chosen by the customer :

  • Stage 0 (before the theoretical study)

  • Stage 1 (theoretical study and possible pre-model)

  • Stage 2 (possible corrections and final model)

  • Stage 3A (licence if the customer does not wish to deposit a patent of improvement)

  • Stage 3B (licence if the customer wishes to deposit a patent of improvement)

STAGE 0

before the theoretical study

STAGES MEGALUX CUSTOMER

0-1

General presentation of the desideratas of the customer and the working method of Mégalux.

  • Request for non-disclosure-contract and non-utilization engagement.
  • Request for specifications.
  • presentation of the conditions of licensing (royalties - indelible markings - engagement of exploitation within short times - cancellation - etc...)

0-2

Drawing up the non-disclosure agreements

0-3

Non-disclosure agreements signature

0-4

Drawing up the specifications which must contain:

  • all assumptions and desideratas of the customer.
  • a description which specifies the results to obtain: (isolux - isorays - homogeneity - focusing - description of photometry on target - etc...).
  • spatial photometry of the source.

Remarks

  • If the customer does not provide contractual spectifications, the following stages will be made starting from the remarks made by the customer and the estimate will have imperatively to indicate that there is no specifications.

  • If the customer cannot provide the spatial photometry of the chosen source, Mégalux will include the subcontracting of a spatial distribution in the estimate, or in agreement with the customer will use a lambertian distribution.

0-5

Drawing up the " Card of specification of the component - working assumptions " starting from the contractual specifications or others informations.

0-6

  • Discussion concerning the results to obtain and drawing up of the assumptions on which the study will be validated (except if the theoretical study was started from a lambertian distribution ).

  • Presentation of the technical risks.

0-7

Drawing up a quotation

0-8

Discussion with the customer concerning thequotation (technical and financial aspects)

0-9

AGREEMENT FOR STAGE 1

by:

  • non-utilization engagement
  • purchase order.

STAGE 1

theoretical study and possible pre-model

STAGES MEGALUX CLIENT

1-1

Theoretical study 2D and/or 3D

1-2

(possible)

Manufacturing the pre-model for highlighting the theoretical principle and allowing a search complement.

1-3

(possible)

Measurements with the pre-model on bench

  • Photometry on target of the component and its source
  • Search of aberrations and technical risks.

1-4

(possible)

Three-dimensional measurements of optical surfaces of the pre-model

1-5

(possible)

  • Modeling of optical surfaces in 3D simulation
  • Comparison between this result and the theoretical result and measurements on bench (peudo-isolux or iso-rays on target).

1-6

Synthesis of the studies

  • theoretical,
  • photometric results (if they exist),
  • measurements with 2D and 3D simulations
  • Visualization of the three-dimensional veil.

1-7

Drawing up a Index-card "synthesis of theoretical results of the component".

1-8

Discussion concerning the results obtained.

If work is in conformity according to the request, invoicing stage 1 by Mégalux.

1-9

Validation of stage 1

AGREEMENT FOR STAGE 2

by:

  • purchase order or

  • work request if the price of the model does not appear in the estimate.

STAGE 2

possible corrections and final model

STAGES MEGALUX CLIENT

2-1

(possible)

Resumption of the theory

by 2D and/or 3D simulations

2-2

Manufacturing the final model of study end in two specimens

2-3

Measurements with the model on bench

  • Photometry on target of the component and its source
  • Search of aberrations and technical risks.

2-4

(possible)

Three-dimensional measurements of optical surfaces of the model

2-5

(possible)

  • Modeling of optical surfaces in 3D simulation
  • Comparison between this result and the theoretical result and measurements on bench (peudo-isolux or Iso-rays on target).

2-6

Synthesis of the studies

  • theoretical,

  • photometric results (if they exist),

  • measurements with 2D and 3D simulations

  • Visualization of the three-dimensional veil

2-7

Drawing up" End-of-study report "

handing-over this note to the customer

2-8

Discussion autour des résultats obtenus.

Si le travail est conforme à la demande, facturation de la phase 2 par Mégalux.

1-9

Validation of stage 2
